How accurate are the glucose estimates?

These are estimates based on the food identified by AI and improve over time as you log more meals and connect a CGM (Apple Health or LibreLinkUp). They are not a substitute for fingerstick or CGM readings.

Is Sugar AI a medical device?

No. Sugar AI is a wellness and tracking tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease. Always follow your healthcare provider's guidance for diabetes management.

How does the free trial work?

New users get 1 free scan to try the app, plus the option to start a 7-day free trial of Premium. Cancel anytime in your iPhone Settings before the trial ends and you won't be charged.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open the iPhone Settings app → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → tap Sugar AI → Cancel Subscription. You'll keep Premium access until the end of the current billing period.

How do I restore a previous purchase?

In the app, go to Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID you used originally.

How do I connect my Libre sensor?

You'll need a free LibreLinkUp account linked to your LibreLink app. In Sugar AI, go to Connect → LibreLinkUp and sign in with your LibreLinkUp credentials.

Where is my data stored?

Meal photos and glucose data are stored privately in your Sugar AI account and synced securely. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data within 30 days.
